“We ask for what we know. What if the better answer lies beyond it?” What a great question! On one hand, it's simple, and on the other, very profound. And it opens up completely new perspectives on everything that's happening to us. Thanks for this reminder!
Beautifully written, Rishi! I totally agree with your take that imagination is based on conditioning. I am not sure I know of a way to break out of social conditioning though. I mean.. if we succeed in achieving in kibbles as step 1, then we might have a shot at chef-curated bespoke kibbles next :)
I love the idea of chef-curated bespoke kibbles :)
I don’t think there’s a clean “exit” from conditioning, honestly. It feels more like an ongoing loosening until one finds one's true, authentic expression. When we’re in the middle of an intense “high-momentum mess”, even the best ideas don’t land well. But when things slow down, sometimes through conscious work, sometimes just because unwanted momentum runs out, clarity and solutions tend to arrive more naturally .
That feeling of slowing down into authenticity and acceptance with ease, more than effort, is where something new becomes possible.
I think the way to break out of this, is by envisioning feelings and intentions over goals! If we envision feeling peace, growth, purpose etc, we remain open to all the possibilities and abundance of the world while still moving closer to what we dream of!
Wow love this! That’s a great mindset shift - we may in fact be limiting ourselves from more aligned possibilities by fixating on specific goals!
True, happens so many times!

So glad it resonated with you! Thanks.

I’m in the middle of an intense, high-momentum mess, this is a much-needed reminder to slow down, be present and ease into acceptance. Thank You!
And, I’m sorry about Shella.
I believe in your power to come out of whatever challenge you’re experiencing. All the best!

Thanks Krupa! I needed this, I will try and remember it :)
The most difficult part is relinquishing control to sit in the knowing.
Agreed, but that's also the life work, really :)
